Comprehensive Identity System for a Pizza Chain

Papa Dough needed more than another pizza logo — it needed an identity loud enough to compete with legacy chains while redefining what vegan pizza could look like. The brand was built around bold typography, stripped-back graphics, and a cheeky voice designed to cut through.

The identity fuses retro pizzeria nostalgia with a modern, rebellious energy. Language drives the system as much as design, with slogans like “DOUGH OR DIE,” “ALL YOU KNEAD IS DOUGH,” and “I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CALL ME BIG PAPA” appearing across pizza boxes, posters, storefronts, and social campaigns. Every word is designed to feel like a headline.

Typography is heavy and unapologetic, paired with simple checkerboard patterns and graphic icons that scale across merchandise, signage, and packaging. The result is a brand toolkit that works as well on a pizza box as it does on a billboard.

To support rollout, we created a consistent visual and verbal toolkit spanning OOH advertising, in-store graphics, digital campaigns, packaging, and staff uniforms. This ensures every touchpoint feels connected and unmistakably Papa Dough.
